Hello, I got laid-off work a week. I applied for unemployment, but that takes about three weeks. I won't have a check next Friday, so I don't know how I am supposed to pay my bills. I thought about getting a payday loan to cover two bills that have to be paid right away. I have one payday loan out, and this would make two. When I go back to work I will only have 30 hours, not much.
I am thinking about going to another temp service and applying for a job. They need people for assembly work in the town where I live.
I have a brother who has bone cancer. He just had surgery. I hope that he will be okay. He had cancer of the esopaghus, too. He and his wife has had a lot of medical problems.
I have a cat and its a female. She is doing okay. I am glad that I got some time to rest and to be home with her. I hate leaving her alone when I have to work. I am not too far from retirement. Its hard when you have to work all the time, and never have enough to pay the bills. I am going to apply for heating assistance next month. If I get another job I probably wouldn't need heating assistance then.
